DESCRIPTION: A striking gall that is quite unmistakable due to its host plant and the large raised pustule-like growths that are a rich burgundy red become paler towards the apex and somewhat greenish. Gall formations interrupt plant and leaf development.
DISTRIBUTION: Occasional. HABITAT: On leaves of Perennial Sow Thistle.
